Is it a squid? ... No

Just an explanation for one of my friends as to what '>: D' this face is (usually doesn't have the space in between but DA won't let me do that). She asked if it was a squid at first, which is a valid point. AND IT'S AN ADORABLE SQUID. But nope, that's not what I was trying to do, so I made her this.

Oh and this is also a preview for a picture I'm working on, in a style I've never done before. And that's hair, not seaweed, just so you know.
